Chris took this picture awhile back and just now forwarded it to me for posting.  Better him than me- sand in crevices is not my idea of a good time.  For me, a day at the beach isn't exactly a day at the beach.  I just gets everywhere; I can't even imagine how miserable it must be to contend with airborne sand.  Maybe I should make him a turban out of the ACU fabric.  What a fabulous idea!

So about making things...I knit a dishcloth today.  New pattern.  Breaking away from the standard ballband dishcloth.  This Baby Fern Stich Dishcloth was fun and fast and (in my opinion) looks smashing in the new multicolor 1824 cotton.  Next knitting oppportunity I'll try the pattern in a solid.  Fun, fun.  I should Really be sleeping already so I'll get to that.
