I've done a marathon; Oprah's done one. She does favorite things, so, of course, here we go...
On our drive back from taking mom to the airport, the boys and I stopped in Topeka for lunch and then ran to Target afterward. Auden wanted a toy, but I said he had too many already, and we compromised by getting these: The boys colored on the truck windows all the way home. Day before yesterday we went at the playroom windows with them and had a blast. I'm 31 and I was having every bit as much fun as they were. Really. And, of course, they're washable, which is a necessity around here. I'm hesitant to let you guys in on this, but yesterday Matti sort of colored his nether-region green with a poster marker. Washable is good.
The other Favorite thing today is something I should have mentioned in the marathon post, but forgot all about- which really is the point. It's called a spibelt, and it carried my Nutrigrain cereal bar to mile 16 and my debit card (just in case). Did you notice it in those marathon photos? Didn't think so. Cool, huh? It's based on the solid principle that fanny packs are useful, but not okay.
So, whether you need to express yourself today or have a long run this weekend and would rather not rock the fanny pack, there you go.
Have a GREAT weekend. Love, Sara
PS- that IS underwear around Matti's neck with a blanket (that Jan made) on top.
