So i saw these instructions in the new family fun magazine I got and luckily Cori had left a scrap of yarn under my front seat when we came to your coffee shop photo thing so we made these giant bubble wands... Download IMG_0127
This (Download IMG_0129) might be my favorite because it shows how well Matti and Ari get along, shortly after this Ari went inside and K, the boys and I went and did some laps around Collins Park while the boys biked. I told them when we got back they had to shower/bath, which of course did not happen. Auden was in bed asleep in less than 5 minutes. Matti really wanted to play the Wii and he said he really wanted his mommy to come home he was out in like 15 minutes and it was only 8:45!
This (Download IMG_0130) is cute because Matti is concentrating so hard.
Okay so this morning we got up and played some Blockus (at 8 am one reason to not have kids). Then we ate breakfast and went to the park, stopping on the way to get Ari.
On the way I was telling Matti that after lunch I was going to pick up a dress and he said "I am not buying it for you because I only have one dollar" hahaha (maniacally, of course)
After the park we went back to the house for more Blockus. Actually, Auden laid out on the porch in the sun with Nellie while Matti and Ari pretended that all the little blocks were new babies they were taking home from the hospital, congrats you are the new grandma of 108 pieces of plastic.
At lunch I was telling Ari and Matti that after lunch I had to go pick up my bridesmaid dress for a wedding and they could come with me or go to Ari's they decided to come along and help me pick......
Me: yeah it will be real fast I already know what I am getting
Matt: what color is it?
Me: purple
Mattie: purple really isn't my color, you should get green or pink
Me: everyone else is getting purple I think I will just get the purple dress
So we jump on the trampoline then went to Ari's and painted and played for awhile. Then I went to get the dress and all the kids stayed with Katherine and Matt. When I got back and showed the dress to Matti he goes " I really like the pinky purple color better" Then we ate dinner and did the bubble thing.....
Oh yeah and at one point we were in the car and I found Dralinn's checkbook and I told Matti I would just use that to buy the dress so I wouldn't need the $1. He said "you better not or it will be two against one and I will be on Dralinn's side." At least he is sticking up for his best friend.
