The dances weren't very long so I didn't get many photos, but I'm glad we went (Chris took one of me "dancing" with them at the end, but it was pretty fuzzy and my butt looked big). The museum was great- probably because Mr. O at the front desk was so informative. We left with a list of good local restaurants, btw.
Just so you know: The Tigua are Pueblo Indians who were forcefully removed by the Spanish to this area about the time of the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. The tribe currently has about 1,600 mostly Catholic members whose ceremonial dances coincide with Church holidays. I really want to go to one of those! Check them out yourselves (I know for certain that they dance on Sundays at 11:30 and 1:30) in person or on their website! Have a great week. Love, Sara
